Bio

Underground roots. Strip-level polish.

Miyuki began her love for underground music in 1993, inspired by house, techno, hardcore, jungle, drum and bass, hip hop, open format, Top 40, and beyond. That same creative pull led her into painting, graffiti, and break dancing, giving her DJ sets a visual, physical, and deeply cultural foundation.

For over 20 years she has been part of the Los Angeles music scene, beginning her first residency in 2003 with Konkrete Jungle Los Angeles and Radiobomb, the live DJ program on KPFK 90.7FM. Known as a vinyl-clad, Serato dominatrix on the decks, Miyuki later held resident DJ runs at Soundwaves, Audio Asylum (A.I.U), and Samurai Sundaze through the mid-to-late 2000s.

Her signature mystique made her a fixture in Los Angeles, playing conventions, private events, corporate rooms, major L.A. events, and clubs including Respect, Funktion Vanguard, L.A. Beatdown, I Love L.A., Timeless, Dark Matter, Alexandria Hotel, Viper Room, and many more.

Miyuki has also taken her sound beyond Southern California, performing internationally in Japan and Mexico while continuing to shape dance floors with dark melodic drum and bass, liquid textures, electronica, and open-format control.
